Competition and Performance Teams
The Studio offers opportunities to perform regularly. We perform throughout the year at schools, nursing homes, churches, downtown Fort Collins (Beet Street), festivals or where ever we can get an audience! This builds confidence, teamwork, and performance abilities. The teams share and pray together before each class to build a connection and the friendships and relationships that are built with both student, teachers and within their spiritual life deeply impactful. Being on the Competition and/or Performance team is an experience they will never forget and the friendships they make and the lessons they learn have the potential to last a lifetime.

What is the difference between Competition and Performance Team?

Being a part of The Studio Competition Team is a self-esteem building, energetic, and priceless learning experience. You will be amazed by how much your child will accomplish and learn in this program. We are different than other competition teams! Out purpose is to be an encouragement at competitions and conventions as well as present clean, uplifting pieces. This team takes a few pieces to Denver 3-4 times per year to compete as well as participate in weekend long conventions. Competition Teams are auditioned at the same time as the Performance Teams. This team is for the more committed dancer and therefore has more requirements. Competition Team will be taking trips about every other year as a team to perform at different, fun, and special events. Last year The Competition Team traveled to San Diego, California in December to perform in the nationally televised Holiday Bowl Half Time Show as well as the San Diego Big Bay Baloon Parade. Our next trip is TBA (but has already be chosen and is very exciting). The Competition Team has a booster club to help with fund rasing for all events.
